Beautiful Bride-to-Be Kirsty Grange from Grimston in King’s Lynn, is pictured with fiance Jonny Piggott receiving Gift Certificates from Janine Bullman, Proprietor of Wedding World in Wisbech.Kirsty, who works at Sainsburys in King’s Lynn is to marry Jonny, a Customer Co-ordinator at a Construction College (CIBC College) in Bircham in September 2014.Kirsty used to work at the Ffolkes Arms and was introduced to Jonny by a very drunk friend. They got chatting and Jonny asked her out and they have been together for some five years. Jonny proposed on Christmas Day four years ago – they were both taking part in a Charity Swim at Hunstanton and Jonny’s idea was to propose on the beach, but Kirsty was very nervous about the swim, so he delayed until Christmas Day morning at 2 am! They completed the swim and £3,500 was raised for Jonny’s Uncle’s charity. They told us it was very cold but worth it!They plan a Civil Ceremony at Leziate, Lake View Park with Jonny’s brother Adam as Best Man and five bridesmaids plus Flowergirl and Page Boy who are all friends and family. They would like to honeymoon in Florida and go to Disneyland and Harry Potter’s World. |

Our lucky winner this month, Natalie Simkins from Hitchin, is pictured with fiance Matthew Harvey receiving Gift Certificates from Donna Pascoe at Rose’s Gowns in Stevenage, where Natalie entered the Wedding guide’s competition. Natalie, a Nursing Practitioner in Letchworth Garden City, is to marry Mathew, a Butcher/Manager for Ocado in Hatfield in August 2014.They met at school in the Science Class where they shared a desk, when they were 13 and have been friends for years, spending an hour on the telephone every evening. When they were 16/17 they started going out and have been together for seven years.Matthew proposed on Christmas Day after he woke her at 5 am to open her presents. He gave her an empty ring box and when she looked round, he was down on one knee and proposed. Natalie told us she did not believe it at first but after bursting into tears, did say “yes.”They will be married at Aston St. Mary’s Church in Aston Village where Matthew’s Godmother , Christine Hina, is to marry them as the family have links to the Church, followed by a reception at Chesfield Downs. They will be attended by best friend Andrew Hina, who is Godmother’s son, plus twin bridesmaids who are friends from school and Andrew’s sister. They hope to honeymoon on a Mediterranean Cruise. |

Stunning Bride-to-Be, Bobbie-Lee Beverley from Norwich is pictured with fiance Steve Jones, receiving Gift Certificates from Eileen Coldham of Prima Donna in Norwich, where Bobbie-Lee entered The Wedding Guide’s competition. Bobbie-Lee, a Family & Children’s Photographer, is to marry Steve, a Civilian Police Officer in Wymondham dealing with 999 calls, in August 2014.They met through friends some four years ago. They both went to a Pub Quiz with friends, were introduced and Steve invited Bobbie-Lee out on a date. After a lot of persuasion, she told him he had to buy her a monkey before she would go out with him. He bought an Orang-utan and got her brother to put it on her bed - Sweet!- and they have been going out together ever since.Steve proposed at a music concert in the middle of a huge crown. During a show song, everyone had lights or flashes on phones and as she turned around, Steve was down on one knee with a ring and asked her to marry him. Bobbie-Lee thought he was taking the mickey but then realised he was serious and said “yes.”They are planning a Civil Ceremony and Reception in Norwich with their honeymoon in Greece or the Maldives and will be attended by lots of family and friends as bridesmaids and Steve’s best friend Aaron plus James and Jack as groomsmen and Bobbi-Lee’s brother as an usher. |

Beautiful Bride-To-Be Sophie Deards from Stevenage is pictured with fiance Daniel Bartaby receiving Gift Certificates from Donna Kelly and David Pascoe from Rose’s Gowns in Stevenage, where Sophie entered The Wedding Guide’s competition. Sophie, a full time Mum to four month old Blake is to marry Daniel, a Catering Assistant for a Nationwide Festival Company, in August 2014.They have known each other since school days, friends first and they things changed and Daniel asked Sophie out to the Mexican Restaurant Chiquito in Stevenage. This was some two years ago and they have been together ever since, and had their son Blake some four months ago. Daniel proposed on Christmas Day. They were getting ready to go out for a meal when Daniel came in and presented a ring and asked Sophie “Will you marry me?” Sophie told us she laughed but said “yes.”They hope to be married at Bennington Church or Walton at Stone with their reception at The Sun Hotel in Hitchin and will be attended by Daniel’s best friend, Chris and four bridesmaids, Amanda, Sheree, Amanda and Ella and Blake will be their Ring Bearer. |

Our lucky winners this month are Gwen Davies-Gillespie and Sarah Blyth from Newmarket and they are pictured receiving Gift Certificates from Odette Lister, Proprietor of Brides by Solo in Newmarket. Gwen, a Home Carer with Manocourt Care in Newmarket met Sarah, a student studying for a Sports Extended Diploma at West Suffolk College, at the Dot Cotton Club at the Cambridge Junction. They had both gone out for a night out with friends – they liked each other on sight and friends introduced them. Sarah asked Gwen out on 17 February 2010 and they have been together ever since.They had been thinking of moving in together, with their children, as Sarah was living in Cavendish and Gwen was in Newmarket. A house came up last March so they moved in together and Sarah proposed on 15 March 2012. The children knew all about it but kept quiet whilst Sarah set up roses, candles and balloons in the bedroom and proposed to Gwen down on one knee. Gwen told us she was shocked but said “yes” and they all celebrated with a meal out.They are currently looking for a venue near Newmarket for their Civil Ceremony and reception in August 2014 and will be attended by their children, Deanne 10, Lois 7, Cassie 4 and Sam as Best Man and Olivia as Best Woman. They hope to honeymoon somewhere hot and exotic and gay friendly. |

Delighted Bride-To-Be Yvette Spencer from Trimley St. Martin, a full time Mum to Izaiha, 13, Mazden, 9, Bethnal, 5, and Krayden, 3, is pictured with fiancé Jamie Smith, a Builder with DCID in Ipswich who specialise in cladding houses, receiving Gift Certificates from Samantha Boggis at Beautiful Designs in Ipswich, where she is buying her dress. They knew each other from school but lost touch and met up again at a Karaoke Night at the Smock Pub some eight years ago. They got chatting and Jamie asked Yvette out and they have been together ever since. Jamie proposed some six years ago whilst they were on holiday in Mississippi. Yvette had gone over to America with the children to see her sister and left Jamie behind. He came out nine months later and proposed at the airport. Jamie stayed there for three months on an extended holiday and then brought everyone back to the UK. They will be married in July 2014 at St. Margaret’s Church in Ipswich, followed by a reception at Manor Ballroom. Yvette will be attended by her two daughters as Flowergirls and three adult bridesmaids, and her two sons will be Page Boys and Jamie will have his brother Simon as his Best Man. They would like to honeymoon on a Cruise from New York to the Caribbean. |

Stunning Bride-to-Be, Charlotte Hopkins from Felixstowe, is pictured with fiancé Russell, receiving Gift Certificates from Sharon Higgs, Proprietor of Just a Day in Ipswich, where she is buying her dress. Charlotte, works in Customs Clearance at Ceva Logistics met Russell, a Mariner Assistant for Associated British Ports in Ipswich, through friends at a barbeque. Charlotte told us he caught her eye when he took his top off and she asked him out to Frankie & Bennys for dinner and she paid!Russell proposed at their home on Christmas Eve. Charlotte was in the bath and Russell raced around lighting candles, erecting lights and setting up a slide show of their daughter, Paige. As Charlotte came into the room, Russell went down on one knee and proposed. Once she had worked out what was happening and was over the total surprise, Charlotte said “yes”They plan a Civil Ceremony and reception at Ufford Park and their daughter Paige, who will be two by then, will be one of their Flowergirls. Paige was very much planned but arrived early at nine weeks premature, weighing in at 1lb 13ozs! She was in hospital for 11 weeks but is thriving and totally excited about being a Flowergirl at the wedding. They hope to honeymoon in Mexico or Hawaii. |

Beautiful Bride-to-Be, Georgina Howard, from Southwold, is pictured with fiance Toby Maxwell, receiving Gift Certificates from Eileen Coldham of Prima Donna in Norwich where Georgina entered The Wedding Guide’s competition.Georgina, a student at Lowestoft Sixth Form College, met Toby, who works for Micro Press, a printing company in Reydon, at Lowestoft School. They were friends for four months and then Toby asked her out at Sparrows Nest in Lowestoft and they have been going out together ever since. In June this year, when they had been going out together for a month, Georgina suffered a stroke. Toby stayed with her throughout her time in hospital, as she was frightened, and helped her recovery afterwards. As he had been so attentive and caring, Georgina told us, even though they are only 17 years old, she knew that Toby was the man she wanted to marry.Toby proposed at Euro Disney where they went on holiday, by the Sequoia Lodge at dusk. They had been out all day enjoying themselves at Disneyland and, as they returned to their hotel, Toby went down on one knee and asked Georgina to marry him. She was totally shocked but delighted and said “yes” before they went for a celebratory meal at Sequoia Lodge.They plan a Civil Ceremony and reception at the St. Andrew’s Suite at Dunston Hall in November 2013 and would like to go to the Caribbean for their honeymoon. |

Lovely Bride-to-Be, Vicky Karthausser, from Norwich, a Para Legal with Couzens-Hardy Solicitors, is pictured at Dreams Bridalwear with fiancé David Rowe, a Builder for Saffron Housing Trust in Long Stratton, receiving Gift Certificates from Sandra Curston.They met through Vicky’s brother’s band where David was the drummer. They started chatting over Facebook and then, some four years ago, David asked her out to the cinema, and they have been together ever since. David proposed at Centre Parcs where they were celebrating Vicky’s 30th birthday. They went out in a boat on the lake and he kept fiddling about in his bag and then produced a ring box. Vicky was totally surprised and thrilled and said “yes” before they went for a meal at the American Restaurant. One of the waitresses found out and gives them complimentary wine and they danced the night away in the disco.They plan a Civil Ceremony and reception at Drayton Old Lodge in July 2014 and will be attended by two bridesmaids – sister and niece – and the Best Man will be David’s brother Peter. At the reception they hope to put Vicky’s hobby of Latin and Ballroom dancing to good use and are planning a honeymoon somewhere hot and exotic where David can improve his golf handicap. |

Lovely Bride-to-Be, Laura Neale from Hockwold, Nr. Thetford, a Teaching Assistant at Breckland School, is pictured with fiancé Andrew Rumsey, a Carpenter with Cocksedge in Mildenhall, receiving Gift Certificates from Cheryl Elliott-Edwards from The West Wing at Ickworth, where Laura entered The Wedding Guide's competition. They met on a night out in Brandon at a bowling alley. They were both there with friends and got chatting and Andrew asked Laura out the next day to the cinema. They have been together ever since, which is now nearly six years.One of their first dates had been at Wells Next the Sea so Andrew took them back their and by the big green, went down on one knee and presented a beautiful ring to Laura. She had no idea and was completely shocked but managed to say "yes." They went back home and had a celebratory meal with parents and frantically rang everyone to share their wonderful news.They plan a Civil Ceremony and reception at The Riverside at Mildenhall in August 2013 with Andrew's step dad and family coming from Scotland and all the rest of the family who all live fairly locally. Andrew has yet to choose his Best Man but Laura will have her three year old niece as a Bridesmaid and Andrew's niece, two and a half, as Flowgirl with Laura's sister as Matron of Honour. They hope to honeymoon in Sicily. |

Jade, a freelance Beauty Therapist, is to marry fiancé James Finch, a Guitar Teacher at various schools who also plays guitar with the band Rusty G's, in October 2014.They met when they both worked together at Superdrug in Leighton Buzzard. They became good friends and then James asked Jade out for a first date at the cinema when they saw Shrek. After a few more dates, they committed to each other and have been together for some five years.

They met through mutual friends, Janice and Kim, when Steve was playing football. He was injured, and not playing for some time, so they lost contact then met again a year later. Steve asked Sophie out for a drink and they have been going out together ever since, which will be ten years in July – their Wedding Day will be their 11th Anniversary! They have two little boys, Joshua, 7, and Callum, 2.

Rebecca, a Freelance Make-Up Artist working in film at Pinewood and Shepperton Studios and on location, originally met fiancé Andy Dobinson, who is in the Navy and based at Wittering, through his school friend from boarding school, Rosie, who Rebecca met in 1996 at Six Form College. After University, reunited with Rosie who set her up on a blind date with Andy; on the first date they got on really well and been together ever since. As she played such a major part in getting them together, when they get married, Rosie will be doing a reading in the Church and playing a big part in the day.
